Research opportunities for MU undergraduates in ECE or CS

1.Integrate radar and/or video data logging into the linux-based CERT data logger
2.Develop a new high resolution PIR motion sensor with a Zigbee interface
3.Explore the measurement of walking speed using an array of PIR motion sensors
4.Investigate new visualization techniques for displaying motion and bed sensor data
5.Investigate the use of bed load cells for capturing pulse, respiration, and bed restlessness
6.Investigate computational intelligence methods to identify changes in bed and motion sensor data for early illness recognition, including finding and validating features
